Your right under PLUPA 2019 (Section 56):
Any person may submit an objection to a planning application within the gazetted notice period
(14 days). Your objection will be logged and considered by the vetting officer.
⚠ Important — Please Read Before Submitting
- Use your valid legal name — Enter your full name exactly as it appears on your
National ID card or a verifiable KRA PIN certificate. Pseudonyms or incomplete names will cause your
objection to be rejected.
- Attach the Gazette Notice — You must upload a copy of the published Gazette notice,
onsite notice
or newspaper advertisement for the development you are objecting to. This is required for your
objection to be processed.
- Supporting evidence — Attach any additional documents that support your objection,
such as list of signatories, ID numbers,photographs, or professional reports.
- 14-day statutory window — Objections must be filed within 14 days of the date of
the Gazette notice. Late submissions may not be considered.
- Accuracy of information — Provide correct contact details (phone/email) so the
planning committee can reach you for further clarification if needed.
- One objection per form — If you wish to object to multiple developments, please
submit a separate form for each.
